Weston Newton is a South Carolina State Representative, serving House District 120, which includes parts of Beaufort and Jasper Counties. Newton is Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and has been recognized for his commitment to improving local education and infrastructure. Throughout his tenure, he has championed legislation to enhance public safety and keep our children safe, support economic development, and advance environmental conservation. Newton has also been active in promoting policies that benefit rural communities and has earned a reputation for his dedication to constituent services and effective governance.

Weston has practiced law for over 25 years and is a Partner at Jones, Simpson & Newton, P.A. He was featured as one of the top 40 under 40 in Savannah/Hilton Head and has won the Bluffton “Best Attorney Award”.

Weston and his wife Rose have three children, Reedy, William and Eliza Rose. They are active in the community and attend the Church of The Cross in Bluffton.
